Cabin 8 Salmon 🐟

Built by commune kid Salmon at the age of 13.
Capacity: single. (or two for short group retreats)
Beds: queen futon in low-ceilinged loft reached by ladder and additional twin mattress as banquette seating downstairs.
Features: large sunny deck, oven/range, small closet, round dining/work table, enclosed outdoor shower, treehouse views from the sleeping loft, and closest cabin to front gate.
This cabin is featured in River’s 1974 book Dwelling, including a poem about its construction by her son Salmon: “My house is small, but but the inside, well, it’s got it’s own…”
